Why Become a Member
The NKBPA was established by a core group of local business professionals who had a passion for improving the North Knoxville community. Since 2003 the organization has grown to a membership of over 120 businesses and professional organizations directed by a deeply involved Board of Directors.
Membership
- Enjoy a Free Breakfast! Breakfast is provided at each meeting.
That’s worth the cost of membership! - Stay informed. Hear from local experts each month about issues that are important to neighborhood development.
- Promote your business. There are opportunities to be highlighted on social media, featured on the website, and sponsor events.
- Make a difference. Membership fees and funds raised support students at Fulton High. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with dozens of nonprofit organizations doing good work in North Knoxville.
- Network! It’s a great way to connect with other leaders and businesses in the neighborhood.
In addition, small donations are given to help support local non-profit organizations serving the diverse North Knoxville population. Some of those non-profits are:
- The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley
- John T. O’Connor Senior Center
- Volunteer Ministry Center
- Fulton High Secret Santa program
- The Manor at Northgate
- Emerald Youth Foundation
- and many, many others.
Each year we award a Business of the Year and a Non-Profit of the Year.
